Public Education
Plain-language lessons that explain what MADDY’s public commitments mean in practice — so you can understand before you decide whether to trust.
Orientation
The Trust Center states the promises. Public Education explains what those promises mean for a person reading carefully. The Privacy Policy and Terms of Service remain the formal boundaries.
These pages are educational — not marketing, not legal advice, and not a substitute for the governing documents. You may understand every lesson completely and still disagree. Understanding does not require agreement.
Lessons
Three foundational lessons are available now. Each begins from present reality.
- Why We Don’t Sell Your Data What the no-sale commitment means — and what it does not mean — including processors versus selling.
- Why Consent Matters Consent as ongoing agency: specific, understandable, and distinct from Terms acceptance alone.
- Memory: What Exists Today What “memory” means here, what the public site remembers today, and what is not available yet.
Verification surfaces
When you need the governing text rather than an explanation, go here:
- Trust Center — public promises
- Privacy Policy — formal privacy boundaries
- Terms of Service — participation boundaries
- FAQ — practical companion answers (not governing evidence)
- Cookie Settings — preference controls available today
